This is where you come to feel better about yourself as a parent. I’m going to let it all hang out. This is the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth about things that happen inside my home between 7:00 am and 8:00 am Monday through Friday. I’ll do my best to report and not to exaggerate my frustration, loss of control or the behavior of my children as we “work together as a team” to get to school on time. I will confess this much, they lay their clothing out the night before, they wear a uniform, they go to bed by 8:00 pm and they simply cannot get out the door, without chaos.
